The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) depends on highly trained air traffic controllers to manage the complex and dynamic flow of air traffic at airports nationwide and within its airspace. Effective training of both future and current air traffic controllers is vital to maintaining the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System (NAS) and ensuring the highest safety standards for the flying public.
The Solution
Under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Controller Training Solution (CTS) contract, ÐÔÊӽ紫ý is tasked with delivering comprehensive training solutions that enhance the skills and capabilities of air traffic controllers. ÐÔÊӽ紫ý provides classroom, simulation and specialized training services like curriculum and scenario development efforts to develop the next generation of air traffic controllers and support the current staff of certified professional controllers (CPCs). This work is performed at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and on-site at more than 227 FAA controller facilities nationwide.
How We Are Helping
Under the CTS contract, ÐÔÊӽ紫ý has been contracted to customize and deliver course materials, training exercises and assessment tools for air traffic control specialists. ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s team of experienced instructors ensure that both new and current air traffic controllers get top-notch instruction, preparing them to handle air traffic safely and efficiently. The training combines classroom lessons with online learning and simulations to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
